In the mirror
There is a reflection of a woman
An established woman
A woman with class
A woman with heart
Outside the mirror
There is a little girl
A little girl with ambition
A little girl with intelligence
A little girl who wears her heart on her sleeve
The girl is looking through the mirror
As the reflection is looking back at her
A young girl who she knows
Will one day become the reflection
She sees in the mirror
The little girl saw the example within her mother
Her mother instilled in her
The foundation to be nothing less than greatness
Her teachers and mentors provided her with the education and the skill
That the little girl would later put into use
And share her knowledge with the world
Her family were her prime examples of love
They showed her the meaning of true love
The little girl observed what she saw and modeled it outside the home
As though it was something of her own
