On December 16th, 2014, DJ-duo Flosstradamus will be performing at the 9:30 club in Washington D.C.
Flosstradamus is a two-man band consisting of Chicago-based DJ’s J2K (Josh Young) and Autobot (Curt Cameruci). They started their careers together through MySpace. The two would post music and connect with people electronically, drawing them to their live gigs.
The two have performed around the nation at electronic music festivals, such as Electric Daisy Carnival in Nevada, TommorowWorld in Georgia, Lollapalooza in their hometown Chicago, and Rothbury Music Festival in Michigan.
They rose to prominence with their “Original Don” remix, but have also worked on other popular hits such as “Harlem Shake.” In addition to their live gigs, they have appeared on Jimmy Fallon Live and worked on the set of Nick Junior’s Yo Gabba Gabba.
9:30 Club is also featuring Two-9 and DJ Money during the same concert. Two-9 is an American hip-hop collective based in Atlanta Georgia.
During the December concert, the collective will feature Curtis Williams. DJ Money is a D.C. native, as well as a rising star. Starting from the age of 12, he has been honing his musical skills, and now his hard work has paid off. He has performed alongside Mac Miller and R&B star Raheem DeVaughn. Currently, he is crowned as D.C.’s “Club King.”
The 9:30 club is one of D.C.’s most prominent venues that presents top name artists year-round. Tickets are available on ticketfly.com, at the club box office or at the Merriweather Post Pavilion Post office.
